William A. Lynch, 91, of Frederick, MD, died Monday May 23.
Son of the late William T. and Nettie Allnutt Lynch.  He is survived by his wife, Louise E. Lynch.  William is survived by three sons:  William Thomas (Diane) Lynch of Gaithersburg, Anthony T. (Judy)  Lynch of Florida, and John H. (Betsy) Lynch of Edgewater.  He is also survived by seven stepchildren:  Lisa (James) House of California, Kristin (Behrooz) Afrasiabi of Pennsylvania, Andrew  Hoffman of West Virginia, Matthew (Connie) Hoffman of Virginia, Karin (Larry) Bryan of Frederick, Frank (Brenda) Hoffman of Mt. Airy, and David Hoffman of Pennsylvania.  He is survived by 5 grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and several great nieces and nephews.  William is predeceased by a grandson, Scott Patrick Lynch, a sister, Genevieve Welsh, a niece, Sara Myers, and a nephew, James (Bubby) Welsh.
Mr. Lynch served in the Navy in World War II.  He was a life member of the Lions Club and VFW.  He was a member of the American Legion and Rotary Club in Gaithersburg and Frederick.  He began a promotional career in sales with Brown and Bigelow and 21 years as sales manager for W.W. Kendrick.  Mr. Lynch formed his own company, Lynch Associates, in 1972, and was president until selling the company to Geiger Brothers in 1999, where he worked as their sales rep until 2010.
Friends may visit on Wednesday, May 25 from 6 to 8 pm at the Muriel H. Barber Funeral Home (21525 Laytonsville Rd. Laytonsville, MD 20882)  Funeral  services will be held on Thursday, May 26 at 11 am at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Forest Oak Cemetery, Gaithersburg, MD.
