Gladys Marie Masten

Gladys Masten of Elkridge, MD passed away on April 11, 2024. Daughter of the late Helen E. Whitworth and William J. Whitworth. Widow of Nunziato "Shorty" Masten. Survived by children Darleen Masten of Elkridge, MD; and Angelo Masten of Harpers Ferry, WV; Grandchildren Ryan Masten (Beth Nick); Teresa Jo Bradely (Blaine Bradley) of Bristol, TN; Great-grandchildren Emma Masten; Ryan Masten, Jr.; and Myles Bradley. Surviving siblings Lucy Rudder of Bland, VA; Nancy Whitworth of Elkridge, MD; and Charles Whitworth of Damascus, MD; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, etc. 

Predeceased siblings: June Stiles; William "Bud" Whitworth; George Whitworth; Dorothy Cole; Scott Whitworth, Elsie Fisher; Mary Kinder; Betty Hamilton; John Whitworth; and Harry Whitworth.

Gladys was a homemaker who loved animals, cooking, her family, reading the bible, reading romance stories, playing cards, and watching TV. 

Relatives and friends may visit on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 10am to 11am at Germantown Baptist Church, 17640 Riffle Ford Rd., Germantown, MD 20874, where a funeral service will be held at 11am. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
