Randall L. Bowen, Jr.

Randall Lynn Bowen, Jr. passed away at his home in Gaithersburg, MD on Feb 12, 2020.  Born September 29, 1977 at Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, MD.  Beloved son of Randall, Sr. and Arlene J Williams Bowen.  He graduated from Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring, MD in 1995.  Randy attended Montgomery College Sept 1995-Jan 2002.  He studied General Studies including Algebra 2 and Trigonometry while he worked full time.  He was baptized at Rockville Seventh Day Adventist in the Spring of 2002.  He made his career in the flooring business starting in September 2002 as Sales and installation manager and growing into his current title of Field Supervisor, Project Manager and coordinator, as well as Commercial Estimator.  He is survived by his children Kaitlyn Marie Bowen and Connor Lynn Bowen and their mother Karin Mayer Bowen.  His brother William Donald Bowen and sister-in-law Amanda Rachel Bartlett Bowen and nephew William Nathaniel Bowen, many aunts and uncles and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents Donald H & Hazel Ruth Knapp Bowen, maternal grandparents W.D. Williams & Jean Smith Williams.  

A memorial service will be held Saturday February 29, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at Spencerville Seventh Day Adventist Church. 16325 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20905 .  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Spencerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church at the address above.
