Mark Marion Stokes

Mark Marion Stokes, 59, of Mount Airy, MD, passed away on February 27, 2024. Mark was born on February 11, 1965, to Wesley Lee Stokes, Sr. and Nancy Lee Stokes. He is survived by his wife Rosanne, son Ian Stokes (Elizabeth), daughter Meghan Kausch (Tim), brother Wesley Lee Stokes, Jr. (Dawn), and sister Cheryl Walker (Mike); uncle to 10 nieces and nephews.

Mark was owner/operator of Carpet Crusaders in Mount Airy, MD for more than 25 years, pouring his heart and soul into his business, which was evident to all customers and patrons.

Viewings will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at the Roy W. Barber Funeral Home, 21525 Laytonsville Rd., Laytonsville, MD 20882.

A Funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 11am at Roy W. Barber Funeral Home.

A luncheon gathering will follow the service from 12:30pm to 3:30pm at Damascus United Methodist, 9700 New Church St., Damascus, MD 20872.
