John M. Ferro

John M. Ferro, 95, of Olney, MD passed away on May 8, 2020. Son of the late Frank and Celle Smith Ferro. Survived by his wife, Joan Eaton Craver Ferro.  Predeceased in 2003 by his wife Marguerite Ellen Ferro. Survived by his children, Bonita Thomas of Frederick, MD, John Ferro, Jr. and Laurie of Winter Spring, FL, Judith Rosaasen and Kenneth of Redlands, CA, Lauren Carmody, (deceased) and Francis Carmody, Jr., David Ferro and Robin of Stevensville, MD, and Brenda Dulaney of McRae, GA, as well as his foster children, Nancy Reio of Georgia , Paul Collins of Ohio and Judith Ryan of Delaware.  Predeceased by his foster child, Edward Collins. Also survived by his grandchildren, Kevin Thomas and Susan, Kenneth Thomas, Scott Thomas and Kathy, Greg Thomas and Ruth, Jamie Thomas, John Ferro III, Christina Ferro, Tiffany Pawson and Christopher, Kenneth Rosaasen, Mark Rosaasen, Katelyn Rosaasen, Francis Carmody III and Denice, Brian Carmody, Stephanie Miller and Kolter, Jennifer Ferro, Christopher Ferro, and five foster grandchildren, Kathy Wise, Robert Dulaney, Brittany Dulaney, Jennifer Reio, and Justin Reio. Predeceased by two grandsons, Jason Ferro and Matthew Ferro. Survived as well by 48 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother, Frank Ferro and his sister, Dorothy Fried.

John was a fan of the Washington Redskins and Washington Nationals.
