Jeanne M. Davis

Jeanne M. Davis of Olney, MD passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 10th, 2021. She was born in Tacoma, WA on February 20th, 1923, to the late Gladys Martin Knight and Harry Martin. She is predeceased by brothers Jim, Harry, and John Martin. Jeanne attended Mills College in San Francisco, where she met her beloved, late, husband Thomas F. Davis of Philadelphia. 

Jeanne devoted her life to her family and is survived by her five children, Tommy (Kate), Mike (Bonnie, dec.), John (Rennie), Jeanne (Jon), and Jim (Lucia); her eight grandchildren, Kyleen, Sean, Jaclyn, Brent, Leslie, Stephanie, Jeannie, and Megan; as well as seven great-grandchildren, Peyton, Grant, Colton, Chase, Addison, Davis, and Hoyt. 

Jeanne enjoyed her later years at Riderwood Village, especially playing bridge and dining with her friends. A lifelong Catholic, Jeanne attended Mass at St. Peter’s Church in Olney and Riderwood Village. 

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Church in Olney, MD on Monday, January 25th, 2021, at 11 am. Social distancing and masks are required. 

A private interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD.
