Elsie "Mimi" Hayton Waldron went to be with God April 6, 2024, from her home in Ijamsville, MD.
She was born July 11, 1939, to the late Thomas and George (Fields) Hayton of Saltville,VA. She Married Lee Lewis in 1953 and he preceded her in death. She went on to marry Larrie Echo Waldron of Tazwell, VA on February 22, 1970.
She is survived by her sister Bernice (Burn) Heninger of Norfolk, VA, Brother Marcial Hayton, Son Lee (Liana) Lewis of Dickerson, MD, Daughters Sharon Lewis of Woodbine, MD, Debbie Lewis, Laura (Marvin) Atwell of Laurel, MD, Delta (Keith) Stup of Ijamsville, MD, Tashina (Shawn) Singh of Germantown, MD. Grandchildren Lee (Alisa) Lewis, Alexis Lewis, Shannon (Kevin) Altig, Erika Hetlyn, Rodney Atwell, Shiloh (Amber) Martin, Kodi (Greg) Davis, Kacie Stup, Avin Singh, Divya Singh, Maya Singh and Ten Great Grandchildren.
Elsie is preceded in Death by Ten Siblings.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday April 13, 2024 @ 1:00 at Clarksburg United Methodist Church 23425 Spire St. Clarksburg, MD. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Clarksburg Church and/or Frederick Health Hospice.
