David LeRoy Osborne

David LeRoy Osborne, 82, of Silver Spring, MD passed away on December 2, 2018 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital.

He was a long-time employee of C&P Telephone and was also a member of the US Air Force.  In his life he was an avid jazz lover, boating and fishing enthusiast, and enjoyed woodworking.  He raced cars and was a member of the Isaac Walton League. 

David is preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy & Alvina Osborne.  He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judith Williford Osborne; along with his 3 children Diane (Ed) Crawford of Hagerstown, MD; Leann Kelly of Fairfield, CT and James (Sally Criblez) Osborne of Bethesda, MD; and his 5 grandchildren Whitney (Gordon) Courtney, Ashley (Jon) Nicholson, Emma Kelly, Aidan Kelly and Mia Osborne; 1 great grandchild Logan Courtney.

A Celebration of Life service will he held on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 4-6pm at Barber Funeral Home, 21525 Laytonsville Road, Laytonsville, MD 20882.
