Marion "Wayne" Lamb, Sr., 69, of Gaithersburg, MD passed away on April 2, 2013 at his home. Husband of the late Rosalie Grimes Lamb, son of the late John Ashby and Nellie F. Lynch Lamb. Survived by one son, Marion Wayne Lamb, Jr. and his wife Carlyn of Derwood, MD, one sister, Fay Fitzsimmons of Olney, MD, and 3 brothers; Paul Lamb of New Market, MD, James Lamb of Keedysville, MD, and Charles Lamb of West Virginia. Also survived by a granddaughter, Cassandra Cavell (Gary). Predeceased by a brother, John Lamb and 2 sisters, Phyllis Smith and Muriel Parnell. Relatives and friends may visit on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 10am to 11am at Roy W. Barber Funeral Home (21525 Laytonsville Rd. Laytonsville, MD 20882), where funeral services will be held at 11am. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, MD.
