William George Duvall

William George Duvall, 78, of Laytonsville, MD was called home on Saturday, July 6, 2019.  Born August 22, 1940 in Takoma Park,  MD, he was the son of the late Frank W. and Hazel M. Duvall.  William will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 25 years Patricia A. Duvall,  his two daughters Wendy E. Kovin of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Brenda J. McCracken of Manchester, MD; step-daughters Pamela A. Hickman of Clarksburg, MD, Linda A. Hundertmark or Ashburn, VA, Patricia M. Sharp of Flowery Branch, GA; brother Robert F. Duvall of Gaithersburg, MD; grandchildren Amanda M. Spradlin , Jennifer L. Vasquez, and Andrew L. Little; step-grandchildren Christopher J. Puchon, Ryan P. Reynolds, Connor L. and Cole A. Hickman, Zoe B., Liam C., and S. Dylan Hundertmark, Maddison A. and Morgan L. Sharp.  He was  blessed with nine great-grandchildren: Patrick, Elizabeth and Dylan Bowie, Brianna Acevedo, Quentin Cruz, CJ Noah, Alba Vazquez and Riley Little.

He was a man of faith, a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Home and family were very important in his life.  He had a love of trains and was an avid train collector. 

Visitation and a celebration of life will be held at Damascus United Methodist Church,  9700 New Church Street, Damascus, MD.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with funeral services beginning at 11:00 am.  Internment will follow at Union Cemetery in Burtonsville, MD.
