James W. Kibbe, Sr.

James W. Kibbe, Sr., 91, of Ashton, MD passed away on August 31, 2018. Son of the late Orlando and Anna Kibbe. Survived by his wife, Bettie Dailey Kibbe, as well as his two children, James Kibbe, Jr. (Ranta) of Laytonsville, MD and Linda Addison (Daniel) of Germantown, MD. Also survived by four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a sister, Rose Gulick of New Jersey, and brother, Rev. Orlando Kibbe of Mt. Airy, MD.

Relatives and friends may visit on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 10am to 11am at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 12430 Scaggsville Rd., Highland, MD 20777, where funeral services will be held at 11am. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Sunshine, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sandy Spring Lions Club, P.O. Box 335, Sandy Spring, MD 20860.
