Derick "Rick" A. Veenstra

Derick "Rick" A. Veenstra, 71, of Ashton, MD passed away on December 29, 2018. Son of the late Theodore and Patricia Ward Veenstra. Survived by his wife, Sharen "Terry" Veenstra, as well as his children, Katherine Hubbard (Aron) of Columbia, MD, Theodore Veenstra of Baltimore, MD, Gail Veenstra of Baltimore, MD, and his step-children, Linda Krainak (Dan) of Olney, MD, Amanda Sohlke (Jason) of Olney, MD, and Cathleen Oneal (Phillip) of Baltimore, MD. Also survived by eight grandchildren and two brothers, John Veenstra of Florida and David Veenstra of West Virginia, and his step-mother, Gail Veenstra of Virginia.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 11am to 1pm at the Roy W. Barber Funeral Home, 21525 Laytonsville Rd., Laytonsville, MD 20882.
