Wayne M. Betts

Wayne Maurice “Marty” Betts. Sunrise August 17, 1965, Sunset July 15, 2019, from a heart related illness. Wayne was a loving husband and a caring father of three. He was a devoted son and brother. He was a friend to everyone he met, and made friends wherever he went. He loved music, classic cars, history, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Saint Peter’s Catholic Church in Olney, Maryland and devout in his faith. He loved America. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Amy Betts, son Nicholas Betts and wife Lindsey, son Nathaniel Betts and wife Abbey, and his daughter Chloe Betts. He is also survived by his mother, Catherine Louise Betts Lopez, father Thomas Junior Milton and wife Linda, and Stepfather Mervin Warner.
He is also survived by his brothers Thomas Betts and wife Tonya, James Warner and wife Traci, Bede Lopez Jr., and his sister Betty Lopez. God sister Valuary Waller and a numerous amount of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Patrice Warner and wife Altovese.  There will be visitation on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Saint Peter’s Church 2900 Olney Sandy Spring Rd. Olney, MD 20832 followed by a mass at 11 a.m. The burial site will be at St. Luke’s Winters Cemetery at 701 Green Valley Rd. New Windsor, MD 21776, and will begin at 1:30 p.m.
