Robert J. Wilson

Robert J Wilson, 79, of Olney, MD, born March 27, 1941, passed away on November 24, 2020. Son of the late Robert D Wilson and Agnes Wilson. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth J Wilson, daughter, Patricia Wilson, granddaughter, Brittany Bollinger and husband David Bollinger Jr, and great granddaughter Hayley Bollinger. 
Robert was a retired lithographer and Navy veteran. He worked for Montgomery County Public Schools as a bus driver for over 20 years. He truly enjoyed that job and the children he drove really enjoyed him as well. 
Robert Wilson was a true family man. He cared for his wife, daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter with everything he had. He always referred to them as “his girls”. Him and his great granddaughter, Hayley, had a special bond from the day she was born. They shared a birthday. They were buddies and you would often find Hayley in his lap. 
He enjoyed traveling, gardening, and watching Washington Sports teams. He avidly followed the Washington Nationals and Capitals. He was so excited when both teams won championship titles. 
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906.
