Raymond J. Dundon

Ray Dundon entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 24, 2020, due to heart-related complications.  He is survived by his daughter; Beth Houston, her husband; Gary Houston, grandson; Jesse Houston, and granddaughter; Megan Houston.  He is preceded in death by his wife; Marie (Cardarelli) Dundon.

 Services will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at 11:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church located at 6701 Muncaster Mill Road in Derwood, MD.

 Ray was born on August 16, 1929, (91 years old) and was raised in Buffalo, New York. He attended St. Bartholomew’s for grade school and Burgard Vocational for High School in the mechanics tech program.  After graduation, he joined the Army and was honorably discharged in 1954. Ray then married another Buffalo native, Marie Cardarelli and attended University of Buffalo earning an Associate of Applied Science.  He, Marie and Beth moved to Wheaton, Maryland in 1968, Ray had accepted a position as a mineral inspector with GSA.
