Paul Wilson Rich

Paul Wilson Rich, age 56,  passed peacefully at his home Saturday, November 22, 2025. 

Born March 30, 1969, in Olney, MD.  Paul graduated from Longview School for Special Education 1990.

Paul will be remembered for his soft smile and unconditional kindness toward all.  He actively participated in the Special Olympics, various social clubs, and church events through the years.  Christmas was his favorite holiday.  Through his life Paul worked in landscaping, business offices and at Service Master.  He had a deep admiration of firemen and police of which he dreamed of becoming one day.  Family was an important part of his life.  He was a son, a brother, nephew, cousin, and a friend that will be greatly missed.  

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Florence Appleby Rich.

Paul is survived by his father, Gary Rich, sister Michelle Beachley, and her husband Brent Beachley.

Visitation and funeral mass will be held Friday, December 5 at 11:00am, St. Paul's Catholic Church, 9240 Damascus Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872. Interment will follow in Montgomery Methodist Cemetery, Damascus, Maryland.  Repast will follow at the American Legion Post 171.
