Otis Edwin Smith, Sr.

​Otis Edwin Smith, Sr., 93, of Germantown, MD passed away on March 5, 2018. Son of the late Ross and Dorothy Smith. Survived by his wife, Margaret Smith, as well as his four children, Darlene Hood (Eddie) of Germantown, MD, Otis Smith, Jr. (Joyce) of Ijamsville, MD, Robert Smith (Betty) of Gaithersburg, MD, and David Smith (Janet) of Gaithersburg. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

​A private family visitation will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 11am to 12pm at the Roy W. Barber Funeral Home, 21525 Laytonsville, MD 20882, where a private funeral service will be held at 12pm. Interment will follow at Norbeck Memorial Park in Olney, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at www.cff.org.
