Norma Jean Minters, born on December 10, 1952 (71) peacefully passed away at her home, in Martinsburg, WV, surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday June 2, 2024.
She was born in Olney, later residing in Germantown, MD. She later on in life bought her forever home in Martinsburg, WV.
Norma is survived by her 2 daughters, Michelle O. Minters and Sylvia R. Brice, her grandchildren, Destiny Walker, Totianna Etheridge, Kevin Roberts Jr, James Etheridge, V. Kavon Roberts, Talea Brice, Kaonna Roberts, her great grandchildren, Risaiah, Railianna, Channing, Taytum, Malina, Journee, Roslynn, Kavonna and Dominick, her sisters, Carolyn Edge, Diane Price, and Jeanie Ramey, her brothers, Alan James and Michael James and a slew of nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws, extended family, and many friends.
She is proceeded in death by her late husband, Charles L. Minters, her mother Edith James, her father Claud Alan James, her brother, Roger James, her sister, Linda Delph, and her granddaughter, Mya Brice.
Norma retired from the National Institute of Health, after 32 years of dedicated service. Norma loved laughter and was always the life of the party. Norma could light up a room with just a smile and her many, many jokes. Her family was particularly important to her. Always making sure they were okay or offering something to eat.
Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday June 11, 2024, at 9AM at Barber Funeral Home in Laytonsville, MD. Flowers may be sent to Barber Funeral Home.
She will be forever loved and missed dearly.
