Remembering MoMere: A Life Full of Love and Laughter

Nancy Lee Songco passed away peacefully on December 29, 2023. Born on October 28, 1946, in Washington DC, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Virginia Thomas. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, David Songco. She is also survived by her son Sean and wife Shannon Songco and their children Brittney, Makalya, and three great-grandchildren; her daughter Stacy and husband John Crispeno and their children Jordan and fiancé Michael, Logan, Nolan, and Rowan; her daughter Shannon and husband Christopher Brown and her grandpuppy Gambol; and other loved ones.

Nancy Lee, Mere, MoMere left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a family whose hearts overflow with cherished memories. MoMere was much more than a wife, mother, and grandmother; she was the heart of the family. She raised Sean, Stacy, and Shannon with unwavering support and boundless patience. She had the rare ability to be their mother and their best friend. She was the confidante, cheerleader, and champion of her GKids and whole family. 

While she may be gone, her memory will forever dance in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Her immediate family will hold a private funeral. A celebration of Nancy's life will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, please hug your loved ones.
