Millard Ramsey Robey

Millard Ramsey Robey Sr., 76, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away peacefully on April 25th, 2023. He was born July 16, 1946, in Olney, Montgomery County, Md. He is the son of the late Earl Millard and Ella Dorothy Burriss Robey. Family meant everything to Millard. He lived and loved dancing to bluegrass music and playing spoons. He was a painter for 40 some odd years and coached little league for several years. He just loved to make people laugh and smile, telling jokes and stories.

He is survived by his companion, Cathy Baker of 13 years, daughter Melinda Foster and husband Jay and brother Stanley Robey Sr; 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and a flock of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son Millard Robey Jr., daughter Leighann Robey, grandson BJ, four sisters: Jane, Jeraldine, Carol Jean, and Patsy, two brothers Douglas and Richard Robey, and former wife Linda.

Family will receive friends at Roy W. Barber Funeral Home in Laytonsville, MD, from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Tuesday, May 2nd, service to follow.
