Margaret Musick Obituary

 

Margaret Gregg Musick from Damascus, passed away on March 11, 2023.  She was 84 years old.  Margaret was born on July 23, 1938, to Thomas and Frances Gregg of Ashton, MD.  She was one of 6 children. She was a 1956 graduate of Sherwood High School in Ashton, MD.

Up until a few years ago, Margaret was an active member of Montgomery Hills Baptist Church in Silver Spring, MD.  She really enjoyed singing in the choir.  A hobby of hers was going to the sprint car races with her husband almost every week during the season.  She also sang the National Anthem at some of those races.

She is survived by her husband, David Musick, Sr, her children David Musick, Jr. and Pam Musick Stevenson along with her husband Jeff.  Mary Gregg and Ruth Brunner are her surviving sisters.  She has 6 grandchildren: Teresa Musick Shakir and her husband Anthony, David Musick, III and his wife Susan, Timothy, Kimber, and Adam Stevenson, and Kristy Smith.  She also has 6 great-grandchildren, Josie and Violet Shakir, Blake, Tayrn, Mason, and Dani.   Margaret had a great-great grandchild named Roman.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Frances Gregg, her sister Alice Sipple, and her brothers Thomas Gregg, Jr., and Gene Gregg.

Services will be held at Montgomery Hills Baptist Church; 9727 Georgia Avenue; Silver Spring, MD 20910 on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Montgomery Hills Baptist Church.
