Linda Louise Glixon

Linda Louise Glixon, of Ashton, Maryland, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026. Linda was born in September of 1960 in Pennsylvania.  Linda was predeceased by her parents Edwin and WillaMetta.  She is survived by her husband, Roy; son, Corwin Alexander; daughter, Megan Nicole and Aussie Luna.

Linda was an avid traveler who loved experiencing historical and ancient wonders. She was blessed with a husband that loved traveling with and experiencing those wonders with her. As a life-long educator, she also wanted her children to travel to help develop a world view that included other people and other cultures. She will be sorely missed by family and friends who traveled with her.

In addition to her family, she was devoted to her parents and siblings. Linda drove countless miles to help her sister care for their ailing father, and she never missed celebrations in the lives of her siblings and their families. Linda’s home was always open to family and visitors where her loving hospitality created a home away from home.

Linda lived her life guided by a keen sense of right and wrong. While this moral barometer never led to judging other’s life choices, it did cause her to be a force for those unfairly treated.
