"Kay" Joan Katherine DeWitt

"Kay" Joan Katherine DeWitt, 83, of Olney, Maryland, passed away to be in the arms of her Father God and Jesus, her Savior in heaven, surrounded by family and dear friends on March 31, 2025. 

She was a loving and selfless wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a woman of great faith, she always gave of herself and cared very deeply for others. She was a prayer warrior, with the spiritual gift of healing, and touched so many lives.

2 Timothy 4:7-8: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness" Truly, she has earned countless crowns in heaven for her selfless works of love and compassion for others. 

She created the most beautiful holidays for her family, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, and so many other wonderful memories, too many to count. 

Beloved wife of the late Terry Thompson DeWitt, Daughter of the late Jack Winter and Ruth Olive Winter, She was survived by her two daughters, Christine DeWitt of Olney, MD and Karen and spouse Thomas Ellingson of Olney, MD. Also survived by four grandchildren, Stephanie Slone, Jillian McKellar, Myles McKellar, and Sophie Ellingson.
