Kathy Lynn Hawkins

Kathy Lynn Hawkins, age 66, passed away peacefully, on July 1st, 2024 after courageously battling cancer. Kathy was born on July 28th, 1957 to Carroll and Betty Hawkins in Winchester, VA. She was a loving wife to Steve Rasmussen; sister to Gwendolyn Davidson (Francis) and Jody Benoliel (Edward); aunt to Christopher Davidson (Brittany) and Gregory Davidson (Lianna); great-aunt to Finley, Reese, and Callum Davidson; cat-mom to Pete and Kiki; and friend to many around her. She lived life to the fullest through countless trips to Key West, attending as many concerts as she could, and meals at her favorite restaurants. She loved spending time with those she loved the most, as her family, friends, and cats meant everything to her. We will miss her selfless, loving, free-spirited nature, but will be with us and in our hearts forever. Kathy’s Funeral Service will be held at Norbeck Memorial Park, 16225 Batchellors Forest Rd, Olney, MD on July 10th, at 10:00 AM.
