Kathleen May Morris

Kathleen May Morris, 83, of Laytonsville, MD passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026. Born November 21, 1942.

She was the beloved wife of Deno T. Morris for over 61 years. Their bond was a lifetime of love and devotion. 

She was the daughter of the late Bernice and William O'Brien.

Together they had four children, though Laura Schuessler had preceded her in death on April 19, 2026. She is survived by her other three children, Dena Austin (Steve Hoff), Pete Morris (Maura), and Ted Morris. Also survived by her grandson, Noah. 

She is also preceded in death by her brother, Pat O'Brien, but survived by her brother, John O'Brien.

She has been a long-time member of Central Baptist Church and spent several years as a Sunday School teacher.

Relatives and friends may visit on Monday, June 1, 2026 from 11:30am to 12:30pm at the Roy W. Barber Funeral Home, 21525 Laytonsville Rd., Laytonsville, MD 20882, where funeral services will be held at 12:30pm. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD.
