Julian Kenneth Swisher

Julian Kenneth Swisher passed away in Gaithersburg, Maryland on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Ken was born on September 9, 1957, in Washington, DC to Julian and Donna Swisher. Ken is survived by his wife Kim and daughter Kaitlyn, his mother Donna, sisters Karen and Kathy and brother Kraig.

Ken grew up in Montgomery County where he graduated from Robert E. Peary High School class of 1975. Ken became a residential and commercial construction expert. He met the love of his life, Kim, in 1993 and they were married on June 10, 1999. In 2001, Kaitlyn was born, the apple of his eye, she graduated this past December, Ken was extremely proud and loved his family dearly.

Ken was well known as ‘Mr. Fix-It’, not just in his professional life, but for family and friends as well. He was always kind-hearted and willing to lend a hand.  He worked hard his whole life without complaint. His favorite hobbies were collecting cars, washing his cars, mowing the lawn, going to the beach and spending time relaxing and joking with his friends and family.

On April 23, 2023, a Celebration of Life will be held at Green Meadows Farm in Urbana, Maryland in their events building from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Please feel free to wear casual attire and come with stories of Ken’s wonderful life.
