John P. Lanigan

John Paul Lanigan, 84, of Olney, MD, passed away on October 17, 2023. Son of the late Lawrence Patrick Lanigan and Mae Francis Brophy. Husband of the late Mary Lee Lanigan, Brother of late Ritchie Lanigan and Lawrence Lanigan. Survived by his three children Chris Lanigan of Tampa, Fl, Jennifer Nesbitt and husband Brian of Germantown, MD and Matthew Lanigan and wife Emily of Mount Airy, MD. Also survived by two grandchildren Monica Lanigan and Christopher Lanigan and a great granddaughter Rhiannon of Tampa, FL.

Relatives and friends may visit on Thursday October 26, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm at the Roy W. Barber Funeral Home, 21525 Laytonsville Rd. Laytonsville, MD 20882, where the funeral services will be held on Friday October 27, 2023 at 11am. Interment will follow at Central Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Libertytown, MD
