Jessica Rose Baxter-Pyle

Jessica Rose Baxter-Pyle, 45, of Laytonsville, MD, passed away peacefully at home on October 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Pyle, and their cherished children: Ally, Justin, Oliver, Elvira, and Lucy, and grandchildren, Wren and Mylo. Jessica is also remembered by her mother, Anita Tuccinardi; father, Kenneth Baxter; and sister, Christie Espinoza. She leaves behind her beloved nieces, Jackie, Maddie, Violet, and Rosie, along with her two adorable puppies, Mickey and Marley.

Jessica made a profound impact on everyone she met. With her bright spirit, sense of humor, and deep passion for life, she inspired those around her. A proud graduate of Johns Hopkins University, she earned her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and applied her knowledge to create meaningful change in her field. Jess initiated a groundbreaking project at her engineering firm that led to a significant global initiative, demonstrating her exceptional leadership and vision.

In her free time, Jess loved to travel, read, and craft, finding joy in activities like Lego building and crocheting. She had a remarkable collection of yarn, which she used to create beautiful pieces for her family and friends.

Jessica will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her friends, colleagues, and all whose lives she touched. Her legacy of love, creativity, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. As Maya Angelou beautifully said, "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

Services will be held at the family home, 22305 Fitzgerald Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20882, on November 4th at 2pm. Jessica's family asks for donations to The American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
