Helen M. Yoscak, 83, of Laytonsville, MD passed away on February 16, 2021. Daughter of the late James and Marion Gertrude Cooper. Survived by her husband, John L. Yoscak, Jr., as well as her three children, Cynthia Hachem (Bernard) of Virginia, John Yoscak III (Valerie) of Germantown, MD, and Michelle Y. Kuldell (Philip) of Rockville, MD. Also survived by her grandchildren, Christine M. Weidman (Stephen), Holly M. Kuldell, James C. Kuldell and CarrieAnna R. Kuldell.
Helen was the comptroller for Yoscak Associates until the time of her death. Before that she worked at the National Lutheran Home (Villages of Rockville) for 25 years in the financial development office.
She was an avid reader and a master at crossword puzzles. Helen was an opera singer and recorded records in her younger years. She sang for many years in church choir and local events. She and her husband traveled and enjoyed many cruises. Helen enjoyed supporting the Laytonsville Fire Department by attending many spaghetti dinners and breakfasts. Helen created many family traditions such as planning family reunions, birthdays and holidays which her children hope to carry on.
