Grace Tropea LaChina, 95 of Brookeville, MD passed away on April 21, 2026. Daughter of Domenico and Giuseppa Bruno Tropea. Predeceased by her husband, Carmelo LaChina. Survived by her four children, Rebecca (predeceased by James Douglas) Robins of Huntersville, NC, David (Ratana) LaChina of Brookeville, MD, Daniel (Sheila) LaChina of Gaithersburg, MD and Ruth (Stephan) Hunter of Lynchburg, VA. Also survived by six grandchildren, Mark Douglas Robins, Michael David Robins, Teresa Joyce LaChina, Mary Grace LaChina, Rachel Anayte Hunter, Elisabeth Leidy Hunter; four great-grandchildren, Gabriel Arthur Gutierrez, Matthew Douglas Robins, Noah Michael Robins and Grace Elizabeth Robins; one sister Nina Policicchio of Merritt Island, FL. Predeceased by four brothers, Frank Tropea, Anthony Tropea, Joseph Tropea and Salvatore Tropea. Relatives and friends may visit on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 from 1pm to 3pm and 6pm to 8pm at the Roy W. Barber Funeral Home, 21525 Laytonsville Rd., Laytonsville, MD 20882. A funeral service will be on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 12pm at the Ft. Lincoln Cemetery Chapel, 3401 Bladensburg Rd., Brentwood, MD 20722. Interment will be in Ft. Lincoln Cemetery following the service.
