Gloria B. Barnsley

Gloria Blevins Barnsley, 87 of Olney, MD passed away peacefully at her home after a battle with cancer on Sunday, December 14th.

Gloria was born in War, WV on February 15, 1938 to the late Blane Blevins and Pauline McQueen Blevins.

She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, Aunt and friend.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, James M. Barnsley Jr, and her 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

She was actively involved as a volunteer with the Montgomery County Agriculture Fair -Home Arts for over 40 years.   

Survived by their 4 children, James M. Barnsley III and wife Savina Casey Barnsley; Thomas A. Barnsley and wife Tina Repass Barnsley; Cynthia Barnsley Thomas and husband Steve Thomas; Elizabeth Barnsley Money and husband Mike Money. They have 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 10 am- Noon, Friday, December 19th with a service following at noon at the Roy W. Barber Funeral Home in Laytonsville, MD.  

Burial will be in Eden Cemetery in Crescent City, FL
