George Higgins, Jr. Obituary

George C. Higgins, Jr. died peacefully at his home in Silver Spring, MD on April 27, 2021. Son of the late George and Marguerite Higgins. Beloved husband of Patricia Higgins, loving father of Alice Nichols and Lisa Higgins; PopPop to Tyler Nichols (Sarah) and Emma Nichols. Also survived by his sisters, Barbara Curtis, Joan Pisciotta and Nealy Gooding and brothers Henry Higgins and Richard Higgins with many nieces and nephews. Predeceased in death by his son, Christopher and brother Robert Higgins. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 2pm at Church of Christ at Manor Woods, 5300 Norbeck Rd., Rockville, MD 20853. Interment will follow at Norbeck Memorial Park in Olney, MD.
