Francisco Arias

Francisco Arias, 58, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, at home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle against cancer.

Francisco was born in October 1965 in El Salvador.  He was the son of the late Jose Maria Arias and Maria Argelia Lara, and brother of the late Joseph Arias, Marta Marina Arias-Mendoza, Tomas Arias (Tito), and Roberto Antonio Arias.

Francisco is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Ana Leila Arias, his four daughters, Vanessa Arias, Daniela Guerrero Arias, Amanda Lewis and Glendi Valenciabonilla, four grandchildren, his brother, Dario Arias, his sisters, Haydee Escobar, Gloria Arias, Milagro Lemus, Estebana Arias (Teba), Mery Arias, Kela Arias, Aleyda Perez and Carmen Arias.

Francisco, also known as Paquito and Franco, was a man with a huge heart and was very much loved by all his family and friend.  He will be immensely missed.

The family will receive friends at Roy W. Barber Funeral Home, 21525 Laytonsville Road, Laytonsville, MD on Sunday, November 26, 2023, from 2pm to 5pm.

Friends may also visit on Monday November 27th at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 9000 Warfield Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20882 from10:00am to 11:00am.  The funeral mass will start at 11:00am, followed by the burial at All Souls Cemetery, 11401 Brink Rd Germantown MD 20876.
