Edward Carroll Gregg

Edward (Eddie) Carroll Gregg 88 of Rockville, MD passed away on Monday, June 19 ,2023.

Born on February 2, 1935 in Olney, MD he was the son of the late Charles Franklin Gregg, Sr. and Marie (Beall) Gregg.

Was preceded in death and is now joined in heaven with his Wife Frieda they were married September 16, 1955.

Edward is survived by his Children Barbara Whalen (Douglas deceased), Franklin Gregg (Tammy), Wayne Gregg (Carol). Sisters-in-law Hazel Gregg, Rosella Reynolds, Pat Gregg, Brother-in-laws James Cook (Angie), Carl Cook, four grandchildren, Kristy Mannix (Marty), Josh Gregg (Brittany), Kimberly Lechlider (David), Kasey Hyre (Alex), seven great grandchildren Sadie, Trenton, Maddie, Knox, Kemper, Allie, Andi, numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Edward was the last living sibling he was preceded in death by his Sisters Doris Holston, Ruth Haga and Brothers Charles Franklin Jr., Stanley Wilbur, George Edgar and William Norman Sr., Sister-in-laws Frances Poole, Alice Gregg, Joyce Gregg, Brother-in-laws John Poole, Doris Marlene (Marty) Cook, Earl Reynolds, Ralph Haga, and William Holston, by his grandson Franklin E. Gregg, Jr.

Edward was the owner of Eddie C. Gregg, Inc. Remodeling business over 40 years.  He was a lifetime member of the Montgomery County Agriculture Fair, as well as a member of the Montgomery County Agriculture History Farm Park. And a member of the Wheaton Moose Lodge.

Services will be held at the Barber Funeral Home on Friday, June 30 2023.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 am.

Burial will be at the Union Cemetery 3001 Spencerville Road (198) Burtonsville, MD.
