Dorothy Louise Williams

Dorothy Louise Williams, long time resident of Montgomery County Maryland, passed away Monday June 10, 2024, at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. Dorothy had just celebrated her 95th birthday on June 2. 

Dorothy was married to Albert Williams, and they were members of the Takoma Park SDA church for many years. They had three daughters, Jennifer, Julie and Jeanine. Dorothy was devoted to her family and her church. She later became a member of the Damascus SDA church.

Her final years were spent with her daughter Jeanine and son-in-law Dr. Nader Soliman.

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer and son-in law Samir Andrawos. Their children and spouses, Jorgina and Robert Helmick, Omar Andrawos, Albert and Katie Andrawos, Isabella and Campbell Martens, and Conrad Andrawos. Their children, Gabriel, Benjamin, Ava, Sebastian, Penelope, and Annabelle. Her daughter Julie Lawhorn and her children Stephen, Thomas and daughter-in-law Diana, and Rachel. Thomas’ children Alexander and Arcturus. Her daughter Jeanine and son-in-law Nader and their children and spouses, Peter and Michelle, Joshua and Charlotte, Nicholas, Zachary, Matthew. Their children Margot, Penelope, and Madelyn. 

Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, and Nana. She brought such joy and comfort to her family and many friends. She was an example of grace and kindness and led a life dedicated to Jesus Christ. She will be missed greatly. 

Relatives and friends may visit on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 11am to 1pm at the Roy W. Barber Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, MD at 2pm.
