Dorothy Smith Obituary
On Monday, February 10, 2020, Dorothy M. (Ceterski) Smith, loving mother of Margie Defino (Steve), David Smith, and Christopher Smith (Linda) passed away peacefully at the age of 82. She was born on January 23, 1938 in Rochester, New York to Maximillion Ceterski and Jeannette "Kominski" Ceterski. Grandmother of Emily Smith, sister of Nancy Deburgomaster (Roger) and predeceased by her oldest sister Rosemary Hawthorne, she also had several nieces and nephews. She worked for Montgomery County Public Schools for 26 years, retiring in 2000.
A private graveside burial will be held on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 10:00am at All Souls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we ask that a donation be made to either the American Heart Association (http://www.heart.org) or the Diabetes Foundation (http://diabetesfoundationinc.org).
