It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Debbie, who left us on June 5, 2025 at the age of 58.
Born on October 2, 1966, in Olney, MD, Debbie was a loving wife, devoted mother, and a cherished friend to all who knew her. She spent her life surrounded by love, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to the people she held dear. Debbie had an incredible ability to light up a room with her laughter, and her warmth and compassion touched countless lives.
She was known for her empathy and compassion, and she approached life with strength, resilience and a passion for social justice. She loved her work as a meeting planner for the AFL-CIO, Debbie also had a great interest in Herbalism and healing, and her caring and loving nature will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
In addition to her family, Debbie is survived by husband David, and her two sons, Dylan and Aidan. She was preceded in death by her mother Cynthia, and sister Eileen.
We are planning on having a remembrance/viewing on Friday, June 13 at Row W Barber Funeral Home in Laytonsvile, followed by a service and readings on Saturday morning, June 14. Internment at Monocacy Cemetery will be right after on Saturday afternoon. All are welcome.
