David L. Davis, Sr.

David L. Davis, Sr. passed away on September 6, 2025. David was born on December 1, 1948, at Henderson Corner, Germantown, MD and died at home in Derwood, MD.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war from 1967 through 1970. He was self employed and owned Davis Sheet Metal.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Diana Davis of Derwood, MD, son David Davis, Jr. and wife Stacie Davis of Clarksburg, MD, grandchildren Bryce Davis and Kendall Davis of Clarksburg, MD, brother Michael Davis and sister Sandra Stamey of WV. He is pre deceased by his parents James and Thelma Davis, brother Edward Davis and sister Genevieve Daniel’s.

Relatives and friends may visit on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 10am to 11am at Oakdale Church, 3425 Emory Church Rd., Olney, MD 20832, where a funeral service will begin at 11am. Interment will follow at Monocacy Cemetery in Beallsville, MD.
