Daniel (Danny) Stuart Wolford entered into eternal rest at age 66 on August 25th, 2021 from natural causes.
Danny was born on February 21st, 1955 to Hettie Ruth Wadell & Alfred Wolford.
Danny grew up in Twinbrook of Rockville Maryland, lived in Dallas/Abilene Texas and traveled everywhere in between eventually making his way home to Montgomery County.
In his later years he was in tire sales. As a younger man he worked in HVAC and spent a number of years playing pool as “Baltimore Danny.” He was an incredible pool player and a lover of all sports. He enjoyed poker, going to the track, and riding motorcycles on occasion.
Danny never knew a stranger and would have you laughing in no time. He adored his family and had friends from all walks of life.
He is survived by his children, son Danny Lee Wolford, daughter-in-law Erin Wolford, daughter Heather Catrina Craig, her brother Justin Bilyeu, son-in-love David Craig; grandchildren, Hudson & Parker Wolford, Chase, Corben, & David Craig; brother, Thomas A. Clifford wife MaryAnn; nieces and nephews: Corey Wolford, Lori Schwegel, Melissa Hawthorne, Stepfani Hendrix, Jami Ferrante Brad Wolford, Collin Clifford; Sister in laws Martha Hagy, Jill Miles; former spouse Rose Wolford; as well as many Cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Wolford, his mother, Hettie Ruth; his former partner Diana Mills; his brothers, Timothy Clifford, George Steven Wolford, Herbert Eugene “Buzzy” Wolford, Joseph Alfred Wolford; his stepfather, Frank Gilbert “Mike” Clifford; his grandmother, Iva Hottinger Shearer.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 2nd, 2021 at 11:30am at the Roy W. Barber Funeral Home, 21525 Laytonsville Rd., Laytonsville, MD 20882.
