Carolyn Jane Dent

Carolyn Jane Dent passed away on Monday June 3, 2024 surrounded by her family at age 90. She was born Carolyn Jane Pfluger on September 13, 1933 in Washington, DC where she grew up. Carolyn graduated from McKinley Tech High School.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 71 years, Bill, son Larry, and daughter Linda. She had three granddaughters Brandi, Mindi, Staci and 9 great-grandchildren. She raised her family in Montgomery County, MD where she enjoyed watching sports and rarely missed a game when a family member was participating. Being an outstanding cook, she relocated to MD’s Eastern Shore where she would have access to fresh seafood, vegetables and fruits. A few of her favorites were rock fish, crabs, sweet corn, lima beans, asparagus and cantaloupe. Carolyn and her wonderful meals will be greatly missed.

There will be a service on Friday June 14, 2024 at Parklawn Cemetery.
