Candy Humphries, age 73, passed away November 27th 2024 in Germantown Maryland. Candy is survived by her husband Jimmy Humphries, brother Steven Block, her 4 children Tina and Eric Remley, Zach and Jonna Humphries, 6 grandchildren Chloe, Janina, Valerie, Aiden, Landon, and Brady.

Born on June 20th 1951, in Newton, Massachusetts, to Melvin and Janet Block, Candy grew up to be a compassionate and caring individual. She married Jimmy Humphries on May 19, 1979, and together they built a life in Montgomery Village.

Candy Humphries lived a life filled with purpose, passion, and kindness. A self-proclaimed hippie at heart, she embraced peace and love. As a devoted mother to Zach and Tina, her family was her greatest joy. Candy's passions included summer camp, helping others, antiquing, and gardening. For over 30 years, she dedicated herself to her work at Johnson Flower Center.

Candy's love for people and animals was at the heart of who she was. Her compassion, kindness, and generosity inspired those around her, making her an extraordinary person who will be deeply missed.
