It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, Adam Jared Gottlieb, who left this world far too soon on the morning of Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at his home in Rockville, Maryland. Though his time with us was short, his love and memory will remain with us forever. He was 38 years young.
Adam was a gentle soul with an indomitable spirit—a man whose quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and warm, protective heart left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. Graduating from Sherwood High School in 2005, he dedicated his life first to nursing, where his compassion and care brought comfort to the elderly, and later embraced a career in roofing—a testament to his hardworking nature and determination. In every endeavor, Adam gave of himself completely without tire and without fail.
Adam's love for family was profound and all-encompassing. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Lynn McGraw; his father, Danny Gottlieb; his stepmother, Larue Gottlieb; and his two adoring younger sisters, Danielle Gottlieb and Alexis Gottlieb-Mullings. He also leaves behind his cherished nieces—Whitney, Rory, and Eleni Mullings, the children of Alexis and her husband Thomas Mullings. Adam adored them deeply and was affectionately known as "Uncle Amma"—a name spoken with joy and love.
Adding to the circle of those who cherished him, Adam is fondly remembered by his aunt and uncle, Majorie and Harry Gottlieb, and his cousins, Valerie and Halley Gottlieb.
Adam’s presence was a precious gift—one that will be profoundly missed yet forever cherished. His laughter, his kindness, and his boundless love remain with us always, and we will carry him in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 18th, 2025 at 12pm at Son of David Congregation: 19100 Muncaster Rd., Rockville/Derwood, MD 20855.
