A. Marie Stanton

A. Marie Stanton, 86, passed away on May 12, 2022 at the J.K. House of Grace with family by her side.

Marie was born March 23,1936 in Comus, Maryland and is preceded in death by her father, Walter P. Melvin, Mother, Clara M. Melvin; Sisters, Mary Theresa Johnson (CC), Lillian R. Mathias (Becky); and her beloved Grandson, Brent Anthony Johnson.

Marie (Rhee) is survived by her three children; Daughter Kimberly, Sons Gary and Joey, Grandson Bryan Johnson; Sister, Eleanor Carlin (Auntie), and Brothers James and John Melvin, (Jimmy and Johnny).

Marie served for many years as a Courtroom Clerk in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, a job that she truly loved.   

Memorial Services will be held on 05/18/2022 at 11:00 am at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, Barnesville, MD, immediately followed by food and refreshments at St. Mary’s Church Pavilion.
