Dolores C. Leone Haschen, age 80, passed away peacefully, and surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. She was living with her daughter Jill and her daughter in law Jodie, in their home in Clarksburg, Maryland.

Dolores was born on July 27, 1937, in Beaver Pennsylvania to Frank and Eleanor Leone. The family then moved to Salem, Ohio where she lived with her parents and four siblings until adulthood. Graduated from Salem High School, and was so honored to be chosen for Salem High School Football Queen in 1955.

A loving mother and grandmother, who truly cherished her family (nieces and nephews included) and devoted her life to them. Beloved mother of five children: Joy Haschen, Easton, MD, Joe Haschen, Germantown, MD, Herb Haschen and wife Sue, Easton, MD, Jackie Killian and husband Warren, Easton, MD, and Jill Haschen and wife Jodie, Clarksburg, MD. She was also the proud grandmother of five beautiful grandchildren: Chad, Kobi, Christine, Arielle, and Ryan.

Dolores was so proud of her family, and her Italian/Polish heritage. She was a wonderful friend, neighbor, and contributing member to her community. She would always be first to help anyone in need, and work tirelessly to get things done. She was a working mother, and took pride in her homemaker/decorating skills.

After her children were grown, she worked as a bank teller (Chestertown, MD), and began working in the fashion industry. This was her passion, her niche! She traveled to NYC to attend buyer fashion shows, and managed boutiques in Naples, FL. She was always so very stylish, and loved her many purses!!

Dolores was preceded in death by two of her siblings, Gloria Marcum and Mary Binder. And by her constant companion Russell, her "little buddy", Yorkie, who brought her so much joy and comfort every day.

She is survived by all of her children, her former husband, Herbert B. Haschen, and her sister Elaine Glaros, and brother Frank Leone.

There will be a private mass held at St. Paul Catholic Church, Damascus, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to:
