Ruth Meyer Obituary
Ruth H. Meyer, 90, of Rockville, MD passed away on June 11, 2019. Survived by her three children, Claudia Golub and husband Howard of Leesburg, VA, Angela Butler and husband Wade of Germantown, MD and Robert Meyer Jr. and Jeanne of Hedgesville, WV. Also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Ruth was the Administrative Aide to the Board of Trustees at Montgomery College for 23 years before her retirement on July 1, 1997.
After retirement Ruth continued to serve her community by volunteering at the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy and the Ombudsman Program in Montgomery County, MD, as well as being a scholarship donor for the arts at Montgomery College.
Ruth took great pleasure in arts and crafts. Not only admiring the works of others, but by creating her own original works of art.
Far and above all else, Ruth’s greatest joy was spending time with her loving family and devoted friends.
