Franklin Ernest Rogers Fessenden
“Roger”
January 15, 1935 – November 12, 2019
Roger was proceeded in death by his Father George and Mother Laura Fessenden, Brother Charles and Sister In-Law Jeanne Fessenden. He is survived by his wife Noreen Fessenden, daughter Kathleen and Paul Bishop and Son Eric and Kristine Fessenden. Nine grandchildren and one grandchild. Was born in Washington, D.C. attended Bethesda Chevy Chase High School, Gettysburg College, The United States Coast Guard Academy and Worcester Polytechnical Institute. He became a Volunteer Firefighter with the Silver Spring Volunteer Fire Department in the late 50’s and had to cease Firefighting due to injury in 1961. Became a industrial engineer for Black and Decker tool manufactures. Retiring in 1995. Roger was active in St. Peters Church over the years serving on the Parrish Council as well as many years as a Eucharistic Minster.
Visitation: Friday 10:30 am. – 12:00 Noon St. Peters Catholic Church 2900 Olney Sandy Spring Road, Olney, Maryland. Catholic Funeral Mass 12:00 noon St. Peters Catholic Church
