Bryan William Thompson

Bryan William Thompson, 84, of Silver Spring, MD passed away on February 16, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.  Bryan graduated from Sherwood High School in 1957.  He married Marion Weeber on September 13, 1958.  He served our country in the Army and Army Reserves.  In his younger years he worked with his father as a plumber and retired from the Federal Government where he worked as a Master Instrument Technician. In addition to his family he enjoyed sports, spending time at the beach and keeping his yard "standing tall" and doing projects on his "ranch".

He was preceded in death by his father William Thompson, mother Leslie Thompson, and son David Thompson. Bryan's remaining family include his daughter Kathy Spinks (James) and Sondra Rowe (Robert) and their mother Marion Thompson.  In addition, he is survived by his sister Carole Osburn and 5 grandchildren Ashley Dugan (Josh), Garrett Spinks (Erika), Hannah Spinks, Samantha Rowe and Tabitha Rowe.

Visitiation will be from 10 am - noon on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Barber Funeral Home, 21525 Laytonsville Road, Laytonsville, MD.  Service will be held at noon, Interment will be at Union Cemetary in Burtonsville, MD.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Bridging Life Hospice at http://www.lifebridgehealth.org.
